Payroll & Account Management

The opportunity for disabled and older people to be in control of the support they need is really empowering, however we recognise that the financial responsibilities can be worrying. We can provide financial support, whether you purchase services through an agency or directly employ your own staff.

Our friendly and efficient team can support you with your enquiries,including guidance on:

  • Taking on new employees, and dealing with leavers
  • Rates of pay
  • Employers National Insurance
  • Holiday and parental leave
  • Statutory Sick, Maternity, Paternity and Adoption Pay
  • HMRC information
  • Auto enrolment pensions

Through our system you can log in to our online portal to access your account details and view statements. If you need a couple more hours support from your PA or agency, you can check the funds in your Direct Payment Account at any time of day or night. Information is updated every 24 hours, so you are always able to stay in control. Alternatively, you can always contact our finance team, who will give you up to date information regarding your account.

Payroll and Fund holding

If you employ your own Personal Assistant(s), we can provide full account management support; calculating payroll (inclusive of HMRC, national insurance, auto enrolment pension contributions) issuing payslips, making payments, completing HMRC returns and monitoring information as required by your local authority. If you use a combination of agency and Personal Assistant(s), you can use this service to manage both.

Payroll only

If you employ your own Personal Assistant(s), we can calculate payroll (including HMRC, national insurance, auto enrolment pension contributions) and issue payslips for your staff. You will then be required to make payments from your dedicated account, complete HMRC returns, as well as monitoring information as required by your local authority.

Fund holding for agencies and services

If you purchase support through an agency, or use your budget to access a community resource, we can hold the funds for you and arrange for invoices to be sent directly to our team, who will ensure prompt payment. As part of this service, we will also complete monitoring information to your local authority as required.
