Job Title: Part-Time Personal Assistant (Carer) for 8-Year-Old Boy

Location: Orpington BR6
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM (with occasional Fridays or Saturdays as needed)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Start Date: As soon as suitable candidate is found
Car Required: Yes (carer will be added to Motability insurance)

About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and proactive Personal Assistant to support a bright and engaging 8-year-old boy. The role is part-time and ideal for someone with a genuine passion for childcare and supporting young people with additional medical needs.

This is a long-term opportunity to become a key part of a caring and supportive family environment.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing personal care (bathing, dressing)
• Offering companionship through walks, reading, games, and TV
• Assisting with tube feeding, cough assist, and hoisting (training can be provided)
• Preparing light meals/snacks
• Occasional transport needs (e.g. school pickups, hospital visits)
• Supporting future medical care needs related to upcoming spinal surgery

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people, ideally with medical needs
• A clean driving license and willingness to drive as needed
• Reliability and a friendly, nurturing approach
• Willingness to undergo training for specific medical procedures
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
