Are you passionate about making a positive impact on someone's life? We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist a 21-year-old in accessing the community, managing daily living needs, and always ensuring his safety.

Responsibilities:

• Support the individual in accessing the community for social activities, appointments, and errands.
• Assist with daily living needs such as meal preparation, personal care, and household tasks.
• Provide supervision and ensure the safety of the individual during activities both inside and outside the home.
• Foster independence and autonomy while offering guidance and support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with the individual, their family, and other support professionals involved.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar support role is preferred but not essential.
• Compassionate and patient attitude towards individuals with varying needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle unexpected challenges.
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to the agreed-upon schedule.

Hours: 5 hours per week (flexible schedule to be discussed with the mother)

Rate: £14.89 per hour
