Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to assist our client, who is living with Parkinson's disease, with various activities aimed at maintaining her well-being and enhancing her quality of life. The primary responsibilities will involve providing support for attending exercise and speech therapy classes, as well as assisting with exercises at home when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Escorting the client to an exercise class on Tuesdays from 14:30 to 15:30.
2. Transporting the client to speech therapy sessions via Zoom on Mondays from 12:45 to 13:45.
3. Driving the client and assisting with her wheelchair to ensure attendance at the exercise class on Tuesdays.
4. Helping and support during exercise sessions, both at the class and at home if the client is unable to attend the class.
5. Monitoring the client's progress and reporting any concerns or changes in her condition to the family or healthcare professionals as necessary.
6. Maintaining a respectful and supportive relationship with the client, fostering independence while offering necessary assistance.

Requirements:

1. Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
2. Experience working with individuals with Parkinson's disease or similar conditions preferred.
3. Ability to lift and manoeuvre a wheelchair.
4. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact compassionately and effectively with the client.
5. Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the client's needs.
6. Sensitivity to the challenges faced by individuals living with Parkinson's disease and their families.
